The facility is designed to treat thousands of tons of home waste per year, and to help reduce the proportion of municipal waste assigned for burying. The facility’s advanced technology will separate the results of recycling, such as metal, plastic, glass, and paper, while generating environmentally friendly electricity from natural gas and compost produced in biological processes from food leftovers and organic waste.

The plant is built from a number of concrete and steel heavy industrial buildings designed by our firm.

Because of the proximity to the sea, reinforced concrete skeleton elements were undermined to the point of endangering the stability of several elements.


Concrete beams in the parking lot, bridge beams, concrete columns and supporting walls were restored. Some of the concrete elements were restored by gluing carbon sheets.

					Our firm designed  the protection of kindergartens, schools and settlements surrounding Gaza, as well as protection additions to residential buildings in the settlement of Sderot. As part of this work, the firm has developed new protection methods specially adapted to these projects.
